Happy Anniversary
Joe and I celebrated our 17th anniversary earlier this week. We look so young in our wedding photo! It seems as though the time has flown by! I would marry him all over again tomorrow. :-)
Favorite Photo
This is one of my favorite pictures of my kids. It was taken on my sister's back porch about 5 years ago. (This house and the shop in the background are no longer standing because they were destroyed by a Tornado in February. My sister and her husband are rebuilding on the same spot and hope to move into their new home in August.) I would love to be able to go back and have just one more day with my children when they were these ages. Wouldn't that be fun? But life goes on, and I now love seeing the young men that Zachary and Ryan are becoming and the young lady that Catherine is turning into. And Elizabeth will be 7 next month! Time goes by so quickly.

Wedding Time
Elizabeth and Catherine were in a wedding this summer.
On the day of the ceremony, we visited our salon and the girls had their hair curled.
Elizabeth was the flower girl. She was a little shy walking down the aisle with the groom's grandson, who was the ring bearer. He is looking a little shy himself!
Catherine was in charge of sitting at the "book" and making sure everyone in attendance recorded that they were present.
My good friend, Kelly, was the bride! She was absolutely gorgeous.

Ryan Earns Academic Medal
Ryan recently took the ACT college entrance exam as a 7th grader through Duke University's Talent Identification Program. (please excuse blurry photo)
His high score earned him the right to participate in our state's recognition ceremony for Duke participants, and he brought home a medal! (please excuse blurry photo)
We are very proud of his academic accomplishment!
