Hi Jackie! Just found your blog---I love reading your literature selections!
I had an entire course on Kafka in college, and I well remember "The Metamorphosis". Terribly depressing---it was tragic that Kafka had such an unhappy life. I remember our professor stating that Kafka's father locked him out of the house at times. According to the prof., the only time Kafka was happy was when he found out he had tuberculosis. Very sad.
But--back to your blog--I also love the editions of the books which you are reading. The illustrations are classic and lovely. Keep up the good work!
“Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.” (James 1:21) (Read by Max McLean. Provided by The Listener's Audio Bible.)
